It's Here...... I got the press release and couldn't wait to share the news. As you know I'm a huge fan of Disneyland Resort. There's no place in the world like Disney for the Holidays and from September to January I can't stay away!!! Halloween Time is no exception.
The last few weeks I have been sharing my last few years of Mickey's Trick or Treat Party in the hopes of getting you all in the mood. I am sad to hear the prices of ticket are keeping some of you from coming out to play this year. Just a reminder, there are special discounts for annual pass holders!

GlowFest: A high energy, brightly lit color explosion all it's own will light up the sky over California Adventure. Located in the heart of the park, SunShine Plaza is the perfect backdrop for the main stage this exciting show. Not to be left out appropriately enough is Hollywood Pictures Backlot. All of Hollywood comes to life in this street party of music and lights.

This was Kaia Rae's first official year Trick or Treating... as she toddled to each candy station instead of saying trick or treat she would ask "pleeease"- so sweet!

Although summer vacation and Disneyland go hand in hand, there's a time to visit when you can see a whole different side of the Disney Resorts -- autumn. Have you ever seen their decorations? Living in So. Cal. we often miss out on a real fall season... not at Disneyland! The parks are transformed with fall decorations that turn the park into a autumn wonderland. Can you tell this is my favorite time of year? Starting today, the weather is often nicer than summer, the crowds are mostly gone, and the Parks are bustling with special events and harvest fun.

At Disneyland Park, there's the much-beloved Haunted Mansion Holiday, which transforms the spooky attraction into Jack Skellington's "Nightmare Before Christmas" domain, this year's Halloween Time brings some new twists. Space Mountain has had a spine-tingling transformation into Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy – a spooky twist that's truly out of this world! There are also the brand-new fireworks extravaganza "Halloween Screams," hosted by Pumpkin King Jack Skellington himself.

Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party at Disney's California Adventure Park is an extra special treat– with live music, candy to collect, games to play, and more. Even the youngest Disney fans can run-a-muck through candy corn acres and enjoy all the fun with none of fright! This special limited-admission event only happens on select nights and sells out every year, reserve your spot at the party.

Incredible Fun!

Disney's HalloweenTime Event is going on now.. With just a few nights left, this is an evening you do not want to miss. Trick-or-Treating is done throughout California Adventure at specified stations. Bags of apples, raisins, and of course candy was handed out by the handfuls. The night is billed as "child friendly" and as usual Disney always hit their mark! Who wouldn't love to dance with those furry guys from Monsters Inc.??? Dancing with characters.... imagine a character breakfast with a twist!!! What a highlight! There also were plenty of photo opportunities with princesses. And with almost no wait for rides like Tower of Terror, older kids and Dads were happy too!



The entire group was on hand for this year's event, Tracey and Jessica with families in tow!

This lucky blogger Mom even got a date with a Vampire!!!
