The Autism Society - Sensory Friendly Disney Films At AMC Theaters

In partnership with The Autism Society, AMC Sensory Friendly Films are being brought to families affected by autism on a monthly basis to select communities.

The program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!

AMC is thrilled offer the program at many locations nationwide — please click here for a complete list of participating theaters. AMC should be proud to be making a difference in the estimated 1.5 million Americans living with an autism spectrum disorder by offering families a chance to see a movie together — often for the very first time.

Upcoming Sensory Friendly 10am showings* include:

March 12 -

May 7 -
African Cats

All shows are at 10:00 am local time.
*Dates and films are subject to change.

Valentine Moose Munch

MMMMMM.....

Moose Munch from Harry & David is one of my favorite treats.
Did you know there are several varieties to try?
YUM!
With Valentines Day right around the corner,
they have one flavor cleverly named Cupid's Crunch
and packaged it in super cute "Valentine-Gram" bags!

I'm a sucker for seasonal themed goodies so this is right up my alley. I also try to be unique in my Valentine gift giving. I mean, how much chocolate can one teacher eat really?! Don't get me wrong, I could eat my weight in chocolate almost daily but I think it's a little more thoughtful to give something other than chocolate on this holiday.
(unless you are my husband in which case, bringing me chocolate on Valentines Day is requirement of being my husband)

Show the special people in your life some sweetness by giving them Moose Munch Cupid's Crunch by Harry & David. Here are my other favorites for Valentines Gift Giving :

(everyone loves cookies and these are adorable)

(so much variety, great for sharing)

The ULTIMATE Valentine's Day Gift:
(hey fellas, this is romantic!)

Harry & David are easily found online or find a store near you
