Valentine Moose Munch

MMMMMM.....

Moose Munch from Harry & David is one of my favorite treats.
Did you know there are several varieties to try?
YUM!
With Valentines Day right around the corner,
they have one flavor cleverly named Cupid's Crunch
and packaged it in super cute "Valentine-Gram" bags!

I'm a sucker for seasonal themed goodies so this is right up my alley. I also try to be unique in my Valentine gift giving. I mean, how much chocolate can one teacher eat really?! Don't get me wrong, I could eat my weight in chocolate almost daily but I think it's a little more thoughtful to give something other than chocolate on this holiday.
(unless you are my husband in which case, bringing me chocolate on Valentines Day is requirement of being my husband)

Show the special people in your life some sweetness by giving them Moose Munch Cupid's Crunch by Harry & David. Here are my other favorites for Valentines Gift Giving :

(everyone loves cookies and these are adorable)

(so much variety, great for sharing)

The ULTIMATE Valentine's Day Gift:
(hey fellas, this is romantic!)

Harry & David are easily found online or find a store near you

Xbox Kinects Families

A new way to Kinect

with your family is coming to

your living room this November!

Formerly know as "Project Natal"....

Microsoft's Xbox 360 has introduced a new kind of gaming perfect for the whole family. There are a wide variety of games to suit ages 3 to 103. Below are of a few of my families' favorites. The Kinectimals game is cute and cuddly and allows you to have a "virtual" pet and is great for the young ones. Kinect Adventures! is fantastic for the family to play together... it's more like a ride than a game and totally fun!!! Dance Central is the ultimate party in a box- (our favorite dance move is the Fresh Prince) This game will be played everywhere... from dorm rooms, to 40th Birthday parties not to mention the tween scene. From toddlers to seniors there is something for everyone and without the complicated controller.
For the first time ever there is a gaming system without controllers.

You are the controller....

Everyone can play these games!

*More photos coming soon*

Disney Online

Disney Online and Disney Interactive Studios have released their summer games for some good old fashion family game time. Well, maybe not old fashion... more like karaoke and video games based on Disney movies.
Sound good?

I'll show you around the party I was lucky to attend! The room was filled with TVs and games. Along with each game was the game designer to explain the best features of each game.

Nick spent a lot of time playing the online game ToonTown with Philip(above).
Thanks for all the tips, Philip!!!

Here's Nick with the new Cars Online game expert. Thanks for the cool hat, dude!
Radiator Springs here we come....

Split Second was Nick's favorite game by far. Available now for XBox 360 and PS3.
See the fiery explosion on the screen in the picture above?
That would be Nick having a blast, (i know) playing Split Second.

Here is a quote from when I asked him to write a review on this game.

"Split Second a breath taking action game with driving, destroying and amazing tracks. You are competing against the best drivers in the world. It is totally fast and fun." -10 year old gamer Nick

"Project Natal" Xbox 360: It's All Fun And Games

I've heard rumors about "Project Natal" for Xbox 360 (pronounced Nay-tall), no controllers, no wires, just your body and your avatar..... really? Yes, Really!

My family and I were invited to a "sneak peek party" to play their first version of "Project Natal". Let's start with the name. In case you haven't heard of this from your kids yet- you will soon enough it'll be the new hot item to have and on every holiday wish list. Project Natal sounds a little like a science experiment crossed with a blockbuster spy movie starring Matt Damon. And that alone is intriguing to me. So hubby, neenie (g'ma), 10yr. old gamer, and I were off on our first "Project Natal" experience. We were greeted by the really friendly Project Natal Team of gals and given (to keep) a new handy dandy FlipCam to record ourselves while playing. We did not disappoint, silly we were!

Flip video coming soon....

It looks like we're going the hokey pokey I know, but by the looks on our faces you can see how much fun we were having. We were playing the only game they were sharing with us for now, Dodge Ball. More games will be released and another get together for playing is coming soon, I hope! My family had 3 generations at the party, this is fun for Grandparents, Parents, and of course kids~ It is so nice to find activities for kids to be interacting with adults that is fun for everyone and best of all it keeps you active!!!

*Warning: not recommended for couch potatoes!

Check out these posts from two of my ladies.....
And my sister's post with FlipCam video:

Thank you to The Project Natal Team for letting us be part of the Xbox 360 family!
We can't wait to play together again soon~
